Terms and Conditions of Hire

  1. Agreement

1.1. This Agreement commences upon completion of the online checkout process.

1.2. The person whose name appears on the pitch hire booking form shall be deemed to be the hirer.

1.2.1 The hirer shall not sublet or permit any third party, club/team or group to use any part of their booking.

1.2.2. The hirer shall be responsible for ensuring that his/her club, team, group or organisation fully understands and complies with all terms and conditions set out in this document and also agrees to comply with any directions given by Tiber staff, including authorised volunteers, and that all persons connected with the club/team/organisation or their visitors/guests conduct themselves in the correct and appropriate manner.

 

  1. Online Bookings

2.1. Online bookings can only be made up to 7 days in advance.

2.2. Online bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking. Any online bookings not paid in full at the time of booking will be subject to automatic cancellation.

2.3 Any pitch hire bookings received from teams, clubs, groups or organisations with outstanding debts will not be considered until payment is received in full. Please note that this includes any teams, clubs, groups or organisations who have set up a debt recovery plan with Tiber Enterprise.

  1. Regular or Block Bookings

3.1 The person or organisation whose name appears on the booking form will be responsible for ensuring that all pitch hire fees are paid.

3.2 The booking will only be confirmed once the hire charge has been paid or a standing order agreement signed.

 

  1. Cancellation by the Hirer

4.1 Tiber Enterprise will not refund any cancelled bookings.

4.2 If a significant permanent change to Tiber Football Centre operating hours or facilities available is made, the hirer may cancel the Agreement with effect from the date of change. The hirer must give notice of cancellation within one month of publication of the change.

 

  1. Cancellation by Tiber

5.1Tiber Football Centre reserves the right to cancel the booking for failure to comply with Tiber Football Centre rules.

5.2 The playing of football will not be permitted when in the opinion of an authorised Tiber officer, it is not safe to do so.  Any decision made by Tiber officers will be final. Please note in the event of weather warnings being issued fixtures will be subject to mandatory call offs where there are health and safety concerns.

5.3 Force Majeure – in the event of a war, flood or any other event outside the control of Tiber Football Centre, Tiber Enterprise shall not be held liable and will not return monies to the hirer should the booking not take place.

 

  1. Conduct

6.1 The hirer will be responsible for the conduct of their players, supporters and guests and must ensure that during the period of hire they shall not cause offence to the surrounding properties. They must respect Tiber Football Centre neighbours, keep noise levels down to a minimum and avoid using foul or abusive language.

6.2 The hirer will ensure the Tiber Football Centre facilities are not used by any member of their team, club, group or organisation in any way which is inappropriate for Children.

6.3 Any threat, act of violence, intimidation or inappropriate language towards a Tiber Football Centre member of staff or its representatives by any person/s associated with the club, team or organisation will not be tolerated and will result in prosecution and termination of this agreement. In these circumstances no refund will be made.

 

  1. RULES

7.1The following will not be tolerated;

  • Rude abusive behaviour, racial or discriminatory comments to staff or other guests.
  • Behaviour likely to affect the enjoyment of other guests or likely to endanger staff.
  • Fighting or threatening behaviour.
  • Noise or nuisance caused to neighbours.
  • Urinating anywhere other than designated toilets.
    • No consumption of food or alcohol on the pitch or spectator areas.
    • No Chewing Gum
    • No Smoking cigarettes or use of vapes on or around the pitch, spectator areas or inside Tiber buildings
    • No Drugs
    • No Fireworks, Flares or smoke grenades.
    • No Dogs

7.8 Players, Coaches, Managers or Officials must wear the correct footwear (as displayed on notice boards).

7.9 A maximum of 3 Team Officials and 5 Substitutes, wearing the correct footwear are permitted to stand pitch side

7.10 All empty bottles and any litter must be disposed of in the litter bins provided

7.11 Changing rooms must be left tidy after use.

 

  1. First Aid

8.1 All clubs, teams, groups or organisations using the pitch must ensure that they have adequate first aid provision and have the means to communicate with the emergency services in the event of an injury to player/s or others persons associated to the club, team, group or organisation.

 

9.Safeguarding

9.1 The Hirer will ensure that all Managers, Coaches and volunteers working with children and young people have up to date DBS certificates for working with children young people.

9.2 The Hirer will take responsibility for ensuring the safeguarding of all children and young people accessing Tiber Football Centre as part of their booking.

  1. Pitches and goals

10.1 A responsible member of the club, team or organisation must make a visual inspection in association with the appointed referee to check the goals and to check the pitch for hazards on the surface of the playing area and surrounding run offs. This should be carried out before the start of each game to confirm the playing surface is safe to play on. Any issues should be reported immediately to a Tiber Football Centre staff member in order that the problem can be officially recorded and dealt with.

 

  1. DAMAGE TO THE PREMISES

11.1 The hirer shall become liable if as a result of the actions of the hirer or its guest’s, property belonging to Tiber Football Centre becomes damaged, lost or stolen.

11.2 We will use CCTV to monitor our premises for security purposes

 

  1. GENERAL TERMS

12.1 You agree to comply with the rules of Tiber Football Centre which are displayed prominently around the facilities and relate to use of the facilities and your conduct. We may make any reasonable changes to these rules at any time.

10.2 Broadcasting by sound or television or recording by a professional film crew shall not be permitted without the written consent of the Tiber Football Centre Manager.

12.3Tiber Enterprise reserves the right to: refuse any application for the hiring of the Tiber Football Centre facilities without being required to give any reasons for such refusal; close or prohibit the use of its facilities at its discretion and not be liable for any loss or expenditure incurred by the hirer arising out of the cancellation.

12.4 We may assign the benefit of this Agreement and our right there under to a third party on notice to you.

12.5 This Agreement is governed by English Law.

12.6 In the event that a single term, condition or rule of the Centre or of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, all other terms, conditions and rules shall remain unaffected.

 

IMPORTANT – USE OF YOUR INFORMATION We may use your personal data to contact you regarding matters pertaining to this Agreement and your club, team, group or organisation’s day-to-day involvement with Tiber Football Centre. We may also from time to time, contact you regarding other products and services from selected third parties but require your permission overleaf to do so and if in future you wish to stop this contact just write to us at 3G@tiber.org.uk
